This might be more difficult to implement than it first appears because of rdiff-backup's pipelined design.

Although this is not a standard way but it worked for me after I tried all of above options. It's not perfect, but note this is not a case of "file changing while rdiff-backup is running". I executed rm -rf vendor/ and then glide was able to install normally. 👍 2 😄 1 🎉 1 colemickens closed this Jan 6, 2016 Sign up for free
Go to Solution. Personally I hide these errors by piping the output of rdiff-backup into grep: rdiff-backup \ --exclude-device-files \ source dest \ 2>&1 | grep -v "^UpdateError .* Updated mirror temp file .* However for an updated file with multiple hard links rdiff-backup creates the hard link on the destination and checks the uid/gid match the metadata. Thanks everyone for your answer.

Is there a way of doing this? We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox. The command git checkout -b branch remote/branch works in that scenario. –Umair Ishaq Jul 15 '14 at 0:57 1 I had managed to create a local "master" somehow, so although Renaming the branches in Pycharm did the trick, so guess this would work on other IDEs as well.
There is some problem on Mac OS X with reading carbonfile information, so rdiff-backup is getting OS errors while trying to read the file's information. See the commands below (note: co is an alias for checkout): [email protected]:~/source/unstilted$ git branch -a * develop feature/datts_right feature/user_controlled_menu feature/user_controlled_site_layouts master remotes/origin/HEAD -> origin/master remotes/origin/develop remotes/origin/feature/datts_right remotes/origin/master [email protected]:~/source/unstilted$ git co feature/user_controlled_site_layouts Even though I'm certain I've checked out remote branches via a simple git checkout feature/foo in the past, to get around this error I had to git checkout -t -b feature/foo
