Most likely they have an ERROR flag that is will keep track of what error is thrown...where ERROR_SUCCESS implies no errors. Please if anyone know how and why, help me out. In my 'myHUD' blueprint, I had created a variable a very long time ago that was of type 'LevelBlueprintEditorOverview'. The last one today, which enabled me to play one match, and then BAM suddenly nothing works anymore. i think this usually sprouts from either a bug in the code (rarely) or the fact that you aren't running UT in fullscreen mode. 23rd Jul 200221:03 #8 LeatherMan View Profile Password Register Games FAQ Today's Posts Search Search Forums Tag Search Advanced Search Google Search My Threads and Posts My Posts My Threads Steam Game Discussions # - C D -

And after investigating that particular blueprint, nothing looked out of the norm except that one particular variable of type 'LevelBlueprintEditorOverview'.

In this case, the assertion failed because that function did NOT return the ERROR_SUCCESS flag...hence there was an issue writing that registry key.

MoxNix02-03-2016, 04:47 AMJust speculation here but I think the problem was some old UT99 textures I'd imported into UT4 and made materials for.... Maybe you need more disk space. Corrupted files are sometimes installed without any error messages with some CD-ROM drives; data is copied to your HD with read-errors, but for some reason the CD drive doesn't warn the The error may also be the result of one or more of the video or sound options within the game that don't work well with the hardware in your computer. But in the end, the reinstall fixed it. this content I changed the load-up so that cityintro didn't get accessed, and was able to get inside the main screen -- change all my preferences and player set-up, etc.

Mamba Jun 05 '16 at 07:05 AM I would try it, but is it smart to downgrade to 4.10 from 4.11?

It still connects fine from the Thievery Tab, but when I try it from the Favorites tab it brings up the UT screen and not the Thievery one. Tried deleting ini files and things and letting them regenerate too. Then along comes version 4.11 which decides it needs to rebuild the materials assets, goes looking for the original source textures, can't find them and crashes. If not, then you need to be.
