  • maybe it's only due to this wizard and once out of the recovery list, everything will be fine (and me never using this wizard again) ok.

This is a completely unusable bugreport. No further changes may be made. Basically openoffice does several clone() and finally one of the instances dies with a segmentations fault. again, hth.

Reverting the change plus things like "dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig" made the "abnormal early exit" go away and openoffice was usable again. it just crashes again and again and again. Could this be some weird condition that only manifests itself during package install and even then very rarely? There is action you can take over persistent recovery messages. Full text and rfc822 format available. but just the same thing happens again.
