The source of the error was a user's smartphone which was configured to use ActiveSync to synchronize with the Exchange Server. In Outlook some Items in the Calendar are multiplied (1 copy for every synch...). Before you follow these steps, disable forms-based authentication in Exchange System Manager. Exchange ActiveSync Server failed to communicate with the Exchange mailbox server in a timely manner. The only thing from the exchange side that does not work is Active-Sync with mobile phones. I was ready to spend the $250 Microsoft service call. I have found the fastest and easiest solutions to be deleting the exchangeconnection from the device. Event Id 1309 Mind you I doubt it.

KB817379 is only relevant if you have FBA enabled on an Exchange 2003 server (not part of SBS) which forces SSL on the Exchange virtual Directory.
